Apple TV is more locked down than Android TV or Fire TV — there's no sideloading, no Developer Options toggle for regular users, and app availability depends heavily on what Apple has approved for the App Store in your region. That said, most people get a smooth IPTV experience using one of two methods below.
Method 1: Install a native tvOS app
Several IPTV player apps are published directly to the Apple TV App Store. This is the smoothest experience when available, since it uses the Siri Remote directly with no extra device involved.

Install the app, then open it to reach the sign-in screen.

Use the on-screen keyboard, or connect the Apple TV Remote app on your iPhone to type faster.

Swipe down on Control Center on your iPhone and tap the Apple TV Remote icon — you can then type your credentials on your phone's keyboard instead of the Siri Remote's on-screen grid.
Method 2: AirPlay mirroring from iPhone or Mac
If no suitable app appears in your region's App Store, AirPlay mirroring is a dependable fallback that works identically regardless of app availability restrictions.

Open the channel or title you want to watch inside the app.

On iPhone, swipe down for Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring; on Mac, click the Screen Mirroring icon in the menu bar.
